Good morning everyone.
Hope you are having a great week. I had an ordinary day yesterday (maybe a little fatigued, or coming down with something), but feeling great today and looking forward to the rest of the week.
Changes this Saturday
This Saturday we will be meeting at Thuringowa High School - where we met previously, due to a double booking at the Salvos.
Details remain the same though regarding service time, 5.30pm with dinner afterward. Not sure what to do for dinner, maybe if we all bring something like sandwiches or cold stuff to share after the service.
KidZone
We need some help with the supervision of the younger kids at Kidzone (Sunday school) and are asking parents if you could please help by going on a roster with this area. Essentially it is just helping them with the craft which will be preprepared and explained to you on the day. Please reply email if you are happy to help (this is easiest) or we can try to share the responsibility by asking each week to make sure that everyone who is able (and present) gets a turn. It's really very easy.
One Month to Live
How are you going with your relationships, and day to day life as you ask this question - " What would I do differently if I only had one month to Live?" I have been hearing a few stories, and seeing the evidence of shifted priorities as we witness people making important lifestyle decisions and I encourage you to continue critically analysing where your priorities lie in light of the Bibel and in particular Jesus's example of how He lived his last month on earth.
If you have a story to tell of exciting changes, make sure to tell someone as this gives us the opportunity to spurr oneanother on to take bold courageous steps into a purposeful meanigful LIFE, and experience the life we were always meant to experience.
The Saturday Experience
We would love your feedback, positive or negative on how Saturday evening services have been for you and your family. Our final Saturday Service that is booked in is Saturday September 4th - the day before Fathers Day. We will no longer be meeting at The Salvos after that and will revert to a previous commitment to hire the Thuringowa SHS buildings for the remainder of 2010. However,
would you like to continue with Saturday night services?
Does the time work?
Would you prefer Sunday services at 9.30am as previous?
Have you got any ideas on a better facility post 2010? (we are looking to improve our location from 2011)
